Sanja Terlević is our new Policy Officer responsible for different fields of work in the network, including coordinating the development of different YERUN positions and related papers on Research, Innovation and Education initiatives at the EU level.
Her background is in regional development, having started her career in a rural development agency in Croatia. Before joining YERUN, she worked for the global humanitarian organisation SOS Children’s Villages.
She holds a dual Master’s degree in Public Policy and Human Development from Maastricht University and United Nations University – Maastricht Economic and Social Research Institute on Innovation and Technology (UNU-MERIT). During her studies, she took part in a number of policy research projects. At the think-tank European Centre for Development Policy Management, based in Maastricht, the Netherlands, her work encompassed the fields of EU-Africa cooperation in Research and Innovation and Policy coherence for sustainable development, with a focus on the governance of natural resources.
