A Summer School on Transferable Skills is being held at the University of Essex, under the auspices of YERUN

The University of Essex, under the auspices of YERUN (Young European Research Universities Network) and the Link EDU-RES project, is organizing a summer school on Transferable Skills at the University of Essex from Monday 22nd August to Friday 26th August 2022.

The event, which is conducted in person but with some components available online, hosts trainers from various members of YERUN with a diverse range of expertise.

Silvia Gomez Recio, Yerun’s secretary general, presented at the summer school on Thursday 25th the importance of Yerun’s work to influence higher education and research policies at all levels, as well as the importance of a network like it in building networks and increasing collaborations among researchers.

About the Link EDU-RES project: The Link EDU-RES project is an Erasmus+ Key Action 2 project funded by the European Commission. The project focuses on the internationalisation of doctoral education and the establishment of collaborative and interactive frameworks for its operation. In particular, its main objective is to lay ground for the creation of joint programmes at doctorate level in the YERUN network of research universities.
