YERUN is looking for a Policy Officer – Research & Innovation to join its Brussels Office from September or October 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a committed professional with experience in European research and innovation policy to contribute to YERUN’s advocacy work, support the engagement of member universities, and represent the perspective of young research universities in EU policy discussions.
The successful candidate will monitor and analyse EU research and innovation policy developments, contribute to YERUN’s policy positions and advocacy outputs, support member engagement and working groups, and liaise with EU institutions, Brussels-based stakeholders and partner networks.
We are looking for a candidate with strong knowledge of EU policy-making processes, experience in research and innovation policy, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small international team.
