After the success of last year edition, YERUN warmly invites you its second Open Science Awards ceremony!
The YERUN Open Science Awards are an initiative successfully piloted in 2021 that aims to encourage and reward Open Science initiatives across the YERUN network.
The second call of the Awards was published in November 2022. This year we have received 37 applications and the awards can go to up to five projects, for a total of 2.000 euros each. This amount shall be used by the winners to further advance the existing initiative or implement a new initiative on Open Science.
We look forward to the keynote speech by Mr. Michael Arentoft, Head of the Open Science Unit in DG RTD, European Commission, and to the presentation of the winners selected by the final evaluation panel, that was composed of:
- Dr. Inma Andrés, Student Programme Manager & Research Advisor, Brunel University London
- Dr. Kostas Glinos, Former Head of Open Science Unit, DG RTD, European Commission
- Dr. Bregt Saenen, Senior Policy Officer, Science Europe
- Ms. Katrine Sundsbø, Community Manager, Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)
