On 5 December, the European Commission announced the first 51 students selected as Young Observers in the Horizon Europe evaluations!
The initiative launched the 1 April 2022, under the Horizon Europe calls Youth 2022, gives young students the opportunity to develop valuable skills that can boost their personal and professional development. Master’s level students from universities across Europe will witness the robust, impartial evaluation of proposals under the EU’s research and innovation programme, and the Research Fund for Coal and Steel.
Eight students from six different YERUN universities members, University of Limerick (Ireland), Maastricht University (Netherlands), NOVA University Lisbon(Portugal), Antwerp University (Belgium), Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, (Spain), University of Cyprus (Cyprus)have been selected and will be part of this project! The call is still open and you can apply by 21 December 2022 at this link.
Students currently enrolled in a master’s programme, in any discipline, at a university in an EU Member State can apply. Students from disadvantaged and diverse backgrounds or belonging to vulnerable and marginalised groups are particularly encouraged to submit an application.
