YERUN is pleased to launch its Strategy 2026–2030, setting the direction for a new strategic cycle for the network and its members.
Building on ten years of collaboration and collective achievements, the Strategy reflects the shared strengths of young research universities: their excellence in education, research and innovation, their societal commitment, and their strong culture of collaboration across borders and sectors. At a time of profound transformation for higher education in Europe, the Strategy provides a clear framework to amplify the collective voice of young research universities, support their strategic development, and increase their impact at European level.
Guided by the overarching ambition to thrive together, the Strategy 2026–2030 positions YERUN as a platform where collaboration and policy advocacy reinforce one another.
To deliver on its vision, the Strategy is structured around three interconnected focus areas that will guide YERUN’s activities and priorities over the next five years.
