The Essex Summer School in Social Science Data Analysis are delighted to be running their 57th annual summer school from the 9 July to the 16 August 2024.
This Summer School provides intensive social science methods training with instruction from an internationally renowned faculty. Each year, over 500 students from over 50 countries and from all social science disciplines attend.
Participants choose from three two-week sessions which all offer a combination of in-person, hybrid and online courses at different levels. Session One takes place from 9 July to 19 July, Session Two from 22 July to the 2 August and Session 3 from 5 August to the 16 August.
The courses on offer cover various types of quantitative and qualitative research methods, research design, techniques for data collection and measurement as well as mathematics.
Alongside the courses, there are plenty of opportunities to enhance students’ experience outside of the classroom. These include presentations from internationally renowned experts in social science methodology as part of our Speaker Series, as well as opportunities to network with fellow participants.
