On the 5th of November, the first meeting of the the Erasmus+ funded project Joint Programmes at Doctorate Level in a European university network: Linking Education and Research towards the European Education Area (Link EDU-RES) took place at Maastricht University.
The coordinator, the University of Antwerp, took the lead in welcoming all partners and introducing them to the project management context and budget of the project. Apart from University of Antwerp, the following universities participate: University of Bremen, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, University of Essex, Maastricht University and University of Rome ‘Tor Vergata’.
During the meeting, the partners made practical agreements on communication, budget, timings and the delivery of results. Each of the partners presented the status of the work package under their lead and how they viewed the content and deliverables, the cooperation, timing, and potential pitfalls (e.g. data protection issues).
After fruitfully discussing, the partners are now fully set and ready to embark on their collaborative journey in order to develop joint programmes together!
