2025 marks a special milestone for YERUN: it’s our 10th anniversary! To mark this special occasion, we have refreshed our logo, creating a design that represents our network’s identity and the collaboration at its core.
We wanted this new logo to come from within our network, truly reflecting the YERUN community. That’s why we invited YERUN students to take part in its creation. Through an open call, we received 36 logo submissions from students across YERUN institutions, each bringing unique creativity and vision.
Among them, the selected design was created by Krittapas Boonpasart, a PhD student at the Bremen Institute for Mechanical Engineering, University of Bremen, Germany. While his academic expertise lies in robotics and human factors, Krittapas also has a strong passion for design and art—an intersection of skills that made his approach to the logo both structured and innovative.
About the logo design
Krittapas’ design uses geometric elements and negative space to form the number 10, paying tribute to YERUN’s 10-year journey. The structured elements within the logo represent the young research universities working together, creating a strong and interconnected network.
