This December, YERUN invites you to unwrap the wonders of Open Science with the fourth edition of our Open Science Advent Calendar!
Open Science holds the key to a more transparent, collaborative, and innovative research ecosystem. Yet, myths, prejudices, and misconceptions still cloud its adoption. That is where our Advent Calendar comes in—a playful yet powerful initiative that challenges these myths one day at a time.
Each day, a new door will open to reveal a common myth, prejudice, or misconception about Open Science, alongside a clear, concise explanation that sets the record straight. By the end of the month, you will have deepened your understanding and played a part in advancing a global movement that embraces transparency and openness in research practices.
Inspired by Université Paris Dauphine-PSL, one of our YERUN member universities, this initiative has become a cherished tradition for promoting Open Science awareness. It is made possible by the dedication of the YERUN ad hoc group on Open Science, whose expertise and collaboration have been instrumental in crafting the calendar.
