It has been another exciting, and at times challenging, year for universities all across Europe.
I was delighted in October to attend my first YERUN General Assembly in Lisbon and to meet Rectors and Coordinators from across the network. YERUN is a vibrant organisation, young in its outlook as well as representing young institutions. I was reassured to hear of common challenges and solutions affecting all of the members, and was inspired by the creativity and energy on display, particularly from our co-ordinators and the YERUN Brussels office. We have recently launched our new strategy at Brunel and, as we work to deliver this, further co-operation and partnership with YERUN will be integral to our activities.
