The European Education Summit, the annual flagship event of the European Education Area (EEA), will take place on 30 November from 9.30 CET in person and it will be available through web streaming.
It brings together policy-makers from EU institutions and beyond, and the European education and training communities. Together, they will bring new perspectives, innovative solutions and creative approaches to help make the European Education Area a reality for all.
YERUN Secretary General, Silvia Gomez Recio, will participate as a panellist in the session “Driving change, aiming for impact: Transforming green education for a sustainable future”, taking place from 16:20 to 17:20 CET. The panel will spotlight the pivotal role of the European Education Area in reshaping education for sustainability. Focused on the New European Bauhaus initiative, the discussion will emphasise the collaborative efforts between policymakers and practitioners and central to the dialogue will be the transformation of learning environments, both physically and methodologically, to enhance green competences. The panel will explore how these adapted spaces play a crucial role in equipping learners with sustainability skills, advocating for practical, on-the-ground actions and emphasising the importance of collaborative synergies.
