The University of Konstanz is organising its first Konstanz School of Collective Behaviour (KSCB) for graduate students, PhD candidates, and early postdocs with a variety of scientific backgrounds.
The School is hosted by the Centre for Advanced Study of Collective Behaviour (CASCB). At the Centre for the Advanced Study of Collective Behaviour, they aim to create a global hotspot for the integrated study of collective behaviour across a wide range of species and across scales of organization.
The school will take place between 31 July 2023 and 12 August 2023 in the Centre for Visual Computing of Collectives (VCC) building at the University of Konstanz.
Accommodation will be provided by the organisers. A limited number of travel awards will be provided and a registration fee will be due once the student is admitted to the Konstanz School of Collective Behaviour. The registration fee will be waived to those coming from underrepresented minorities and those in need of financial support.
The deadline for the submission of applications is 30th March 2023. Review of applications will end in April 2023. Upon informing accepted students, they will be sent the registration information of the school by 1st of May 2023.
