Today Research Professional published an article about European Universities Alliances authored by YERUN Secretary General, Silvia Gomez Recio, and YERUN Policy Officer, Chiara Colella.
Taking inspiration from the many discussions held in the context of the YERUN ad hoc group on European Universities Alliances, the two authors share some views on the current state of play of the alliances, by considering a wide range of aspects: What is expected of the EUI? How have alliances evolved over time? And does their format match their objectives?
This reflection on the role and aim of the Alliances aims to put the spotlight on some more critical insights in a key moment in which the future of the initiative is being discussed by policymakers at national and European level.
