YERUN Secretary General, Silvia Gomez Recio, and Charlotte Wien, Professor at University of Southern Denmark (SDU), member of YERUN, will participate in a webinar – organized by Eurodoc – on Peer Review.
The other panellists are: Serge Horbach, Postdoctoral Fellow at Aarhus University, Veronique Kiermer, Chief Scientific Officer at PLOS, Tony Ross-Hellauer, Leader of Open and Reproducible Research Group fat TU Graz and Kelly Woods, Senior Associate Publisher at F1000.
YERUN has been actively working and advocating on Open Science policy initiatives and more specifically facilitating the exchange of practices and awareness raising among their member universities. Furthermore, YERUN is taking active part in the initiative towards reforming research assessment, being part of the group supporting the drafting of the Agreement on Research Assessment and following the governance and working methods of the future CoARA. Peer review is a key process in the future of research assessment.
The webinar “Discussion on Peer Review”, that will take place on 24 October at 18:00 CET, will be live-streamed on YouTube with a player on Eurodoc webpage.
