M/O/T School of Management at the University of Klagenfurt offers Lifelong Learning for managers

For those seeking to grow into leadership roles in a responsible manner accompanied by professional know-how, the M/O/T, a University Centre at the University of Klagenfurt, offers the perfect conditions for tailored, in-depth and inspiring continuing education programmes. To date, the Centre has produced more than 2,000 graduates.

“(Future) managers have many opportunities for further education to choose from. The advantage we offer is our unique ability to combine quality teaching content with the know-how and competencies of the University of Klagenfurt. Course participants gain fresh knowledge that is supported by the quality processes implemented within the scientific communities,” Rita Faullant, director of the M/O/T since 2020, explains. The M/O/T School of Management, Organizational Development & Technology has been a well-established partner in postgraduate continuing education since 2008 and currently offers seven university programmes leading to academic degrees.

In terms of content, the focus is on management and leadership. In this context, those responsible for the programmes take care to keep current challenges in mind as well. The grand themes of digitalisation and sustainability lie at the heart of new programmes that are designed to offer participants a sound and practical introduction to these important innovation drivers. For instance, one new offering is “Data and Artificial Intelligence Management”, which uses use cases from the field to provide a basic understanding of the collection, processing, analysis and visualisation of data.

Rita Faullant explains the success factors of the M/O/T: “We can draw on the extensive expertise of researchers and teaching staff at the University of Klagenfurt. Often, they are the experts who are aware today of what companies will be facing the day after tomorrow. This insight allows us to design new offers swiftly and dynamically, perfectly matching the requirements of our participants.”
